In the fields and woods…

A quick post about yesterdays afternoon walk. The boss decided to drive out into the country a bit and discover something new. Of course I did my usual inspection of the field before heading into the woods and further on up the hill 😊

Right – where are my friends the mice 😊

While I was taking it easy, Kiyu of course had to go the long way to fetch her ball. As we were a good bit out we had the fields and woods all to ourselves. 😊

Getting the ball…

You cannot really spot the steep incline up the field to the woods, take my word for it – it was some hike 😊 So you can imagine the distance Kiyu would have to cover in order to fetch her ball. After the thrid time she took cover in the shade as it was rather warm in the lovely sunshine.

Kiyu cooling down a bit in the shade…

It was a bit better when we entered the woods, the shade and a bit of wind was making it bearable especially for me, having been out on the field and in the sunshine…

In the woods…

We spent a good bit of time in the woods and there was plenty to discover, especially for me as I am not having to carry a ball all the time 😊
Anyhow – after an hour walking up the hill and over the fields, we were back at the car and I was only to happy to rest my weary feet 😊 no – it wasn’t that bad – still don’t forget I am nearly an old man ÀÀÀÀÀh Retriever 😊 We stopped for a drink on the way back as the boss didn’t think of bringing any water for us.

Having a drink…

No idea where we will be heading today, somewhere nice I guess. You just have to wait and see the next post. I leave you with a slideshow of all images combined, guess you know that by now. Catch you again little later and paws up from Kiyu and me 🐾 🐾
